"Tuku is an Indian Pariah, 3-4 months old. He is a rescue but that seems funny given he seems to be the one practically rescuing me.
Since March 2020 when I started working from home, a paper of mine got rejected by 4 journals, 3 of my visiting research fellowship applications fell through and I wasn’t able to see/visit my boyfriend for more than a year.
But after I brought Tuku home, he really makes me smile at the end of long and tiring and monotonous days - that is, obviously when he is not busy biting off t-shirts/rugs/walls."
