It's Okay To Be Scared

You don't have to feel guilty about being afraid. Ever.

The world may be extra scary right now. It certainly is for many of us who run these pages, and we are sorry we haven't been posting as much.

We feel guilty for not charging headfirst at these fears. But we know that doesn't help us.

When things are scary, we are better off being compassionate towards ourselves. Fear is a normal human emotion, and it's understandable that we are afraid when things are so uncertain.

We at PhD Balance hope you can find some time to give yourself love, send love to another, and remember how brave you truly are.

The brave aren't those who feel no fear, but rather those that feel fear and keep going. Taking a small break doesn't change that.
