“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” is an age-old saying that reminds us to take time off from our busy lives. It’s no surprise that research can be taxing, requiring us to take a few moments away from the bench to recoup.

Picture of a drawing of a pink flower in a pot, the actual flower in the pot the drawing is based on, and various art equipment, such as paints, several paint brushes and a glass of water on a table.

Graduate students are multidimensional creatures meaning that we have other needs and hobbies in addition to our love of research.

That’s why we will dive into making time for extracurricular activities during your training in this week’s Stronger Together.
