Hi friends! I'm Brianna Baker (she/her) and I'm THRILLED to be joining you all for tomorrow's Grad Chat! I'm a first-year Counseling Psychology PhD student at Columbia University's Teachers College studying intersectional approaches to mental health and wellness at the individual, community, and policy level. I'm so excited to talk about my passion for Black mental health and collective healing. Let's have some fun!

More about me: In 2019, I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill for undergrad with a double major in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies where I created my own public health major on African American Community Health and Wellness (Go Heels!). Always a lover of performance and production, I started a Youtube Channel called "Becoming Dr Baker" in 2020 to provide educational videos about Black mental health, increasing representation in the academy, and mental health activism. Thank you all for tuning into this week's Grad Chat, I'm happy to answer any questions!

You can find Brianna on social media: Twitter (@briannaabaker), YouTube (Becoming Dr Baker) and Instagram (@becomingdrbaker).
