What started as a casual discussion between a current (Fay, @faylin12) and recent (Susanna, @susannalharris) grad student about maintaining mental health and balance in grad school, transformed into an incredible weekly YouTube live video series showcasing the perspectives, advocacy, and vulnerability of countless current and former academics around the world.
Since launching in May 2020, Grad Chat has covered topics ranging from mentorship, processing grief, diversity/equity/inclusion, career growth, and more to advance the PhD Balance mission of putting discussions of wellness and personal development at the forefront of the grad school experience. We are very excited to announce that Grad Chat will now be available as a podcast hosted from Anchor.fm, but is also available on Spotify, Breaker, Castbox, Pocket Casts, and RadioPublic! (& hopefully on Apple & Google podcasts soon - we're still working on that!)
Check it out: achor.fm/phd-balance, to listen there or be redirected to your platform of choice! Alternatively, you can search "Grad Chat by PhD Balance on your preferred major music-streaming platform! Grad Chat streams LIVE every Saturday (12pm PT/3pm ET) on YouTube Live.
