International Women's Day

It's International Women's Day!

Among graduate students, women are ~40% more likely to experience anxiety of depression than cis-men. For women seeking help, they are often misdiagnosed due to the non-uniform symptoms between genders, the wage gap between cis-men and women is still nearly 25% for the same role!

  • Among graduate students, women are ~40% more likely to experience anxiety of depression than cis-men.

  • For women seeking help, they are often misdiagnosed due to the non-uniform symptoms that occur between genders, leading to a higher proportion of women being treated with antipsychotics when unnecessary, or having a blanketed depression diagnosis without really digging deep.

  • Despite ongoing change and efforts, the wage gap between cis-men and women is still nearly 25% for the same role!
