Emotions are Difficult - Surprise

Emotions can be difficult.

A graphic of a cartoon iceberg that is mostly below the water. On the iceberg above the water it says "Surprise", and below the water on the iceberg are the many emotions that come under calm: Stunned, Awe, Uncomfortable, startled, disconcerted, ashamed, excited, dismayed, appreciated, astonished, shocked, perplexed, disconcerted, amazed, confused, apologetic, bashful and eager.

Unlike many other emotions, surprise can be negative or positive. Do you know how to describe what you are feeling?

Take a few moments to look at the different feelings that come under "surprise":

Stunned, Awe, Uncomfortable, startled, disconcerted, ashamed, excited, dismayed, appreciated, astonished, shocked, perplexed, disconcerted, amazed, confused, apologetic, bashful and eager.
