A new month means a new Stronger Together module - our August Module is all about finding your new normal!
“If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress” - Barack Obama
This weeks topic is embracing new working conditions. Surely, 2020 has been one for the books. Specifically, referring to the global pandemic that forced us to retreat to our home offices for months. However, in the past few weeks, more workplaces are opening and life is slowly returning to a bit of normalcy.
Although our academic homes and labs have not returned to 100%, our work is ramping back up. However, it can be difficult to transition back into a normal work routine. One factor that can help ease this transition is increasing your planning and preparing in advance of events (e.g experiments, papers, etc.). Also, as your work ramps back up, remember to be patient with yourself and your progress.
